Research & Analysis
I analyzed common pain points in travel booking flows, focusing on decision fatigue, lack of personalization and accessibility limitations across existing platforms. To address these issues, I defined key user personas (solo travelers, couples and families) to understand their goals, preferences, and decision making behaviors. Using these insights, I mapped the complete booking journey, balancing exploratory actions (mood-based discovery) with direct, criteria driven searches to create an intuitive and flexible experience.
Feature Prioritization
Mood and landscape selection, accessibility filters and multi user support were prioritized to ensure flexibility without increasing cognitive load.
Experience Structuring
The platform structure was designed to guide users smoothly from discovery to destination details, with a clear apartment detail page supporting comparison and informed decisions.
Interface Design & Iteration
High-fidelity interfaces were designed and iteratively refined, focusing on visual hierarchy, clarity and usability across different devices and user types.
Visual Design & Style Guide
The Design prioritizes clarity and approachability with a clean layout, balanced spacing and accessible typography.
UI components were designed to scale across different pages while maintaining consistency.
Special attention was given to contrast, readability, and inclusive design patterns to support users with different needs and preferences.
Conclusion
Jet It demonstrates how a user-centered approach can simplify complex booking systems without sacrificing flexibility or inspiration.
